Ratings of Parsian Insurance Company Lowered and Outlook Revised to Negative; All Ratings Subsequently Withdrawn

Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings or CI), the international credit rating agency, today announced that it has lowered Parsian Insurance Company's Long-Term Insurer Financial Strength Rating (IFSR) to 'B+' from 'BB-' and its Long-Term National Rating (on CI's Iranian scale) to 'irA+' from 'irAA-'. At the same time, the Short-Term IFSR has been affirmed at 'B' and the Short-Term National Rating lowered to 'irA2' from 'irA1'. CI has also revised the Outlook for Parsian's long-term ratings to Negative from Stable.
