Bank of India - Financial Strength Rating Lowered, all other Ratings Affirmed

Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings or CI), the international credit rating agency, today announced that it has reduced the Financial Strength Rating (FSR) of Bank of India (BOI) to 'BB-' from 'BB' in view of the substantial increase in non-performing loans (NPLs) in H2 FY2016 owing to impairments from the corporate credit portfolio.
