Kurdistan International Islamic Bank - Ratings Suspended

Overview

Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings or CI) today announced that it has suspended the credit ratings of Kurdistan International Islamic Bank (KIB) due to the lack of up-to-date financial data. At the time of suspension, the Bank's Long-Term Foreign Currency Rating (LT FCR) and Short-Term Foreign Currency Rating (ST FCR) were 'B-' and 'B', respectively. The LT FCR Outlook was Stable. KIB's Bank Standalone Rating (BSR) was 'b-' with a Stable Outlook and the Core Financial Strength (CFS) rating was 'bb-'. The Extraordinary Support Level (ESL) was Uncertain.

In addition, KIB's Long- and Short-Term Ratings on the Iraq National Scale at the time of suspension were 'iqBBB' and 'iqA3', respectively, with a Stable Outlook.
