National Bank of Greece - Ratings Upgraded; Outlook remains Stable
Overview
Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings or CI) today announced that it has upgraded the Long-Term Foreign Currency Rating (LT FCR) of National Bank of Greece (NBG) to 'BB-' from 'B+'. CI Ratings has also raised NBG's Bank Standalone Rating (BSR) to 'bb-' (from 'b+'), and Core Financial Strength (CFS) rating to 'bb-' (from 'b+'). The Outlook on the LT FCR and BSR remains Stable. At the same time, CI has affirmed the Bank's Short-Term Foreign Currency Rating (ST FCR) of 'B' and Extraordinary Support Level (ESL) of Uncertain.
