Ratings of Piraeus Bank S.A. (now Piraeus Financial Holdings S.A.) Withdrawn; Ratings Assigned to New Piraeus Bank Following Completion of Demerger

Overview

Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings or CI) today announced that it has withdrawn the ratings of Piraeus Bank S.A., which has been turned into a holding company and renamed Piraeus Financial Holdings S.A. (PFH). PFH is the new corporate denomination of the legacy rated entity Piraeus Bank S.A. following the hive down and demerger of its core banking activities and banking license into the new rated entity Piraeus Bank S.A. (PB), which was completed on 30 December 2020.
