Banque Internationale Arabe de Tunisie - LT FCR Lowered Following Change in Sovereign Risk Assessment

Overview

Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings or CI), the international credit rating agency, today announced that it has lowered the Long-Term Foreign Currency Rating (LT FCR) of Banque Internationale Arabe de Tunisie (BIAT) to 'B+' from 'BB-'. At the same time, CI Ratings has affirmed the Bank's Short-Term Foreign Currency Rating (ST FCR) at 'B'. The Bank has also been assigned a Bank Standalone Rating (BSR) of 'b+' and a Core Financial Strength (CFS) rating of 'bb'. The Outlook for the LT FCR and BSR is Stable.
