Muscat Finance Company - National Rating Revised Following Recalibration of the Oman National Scale

Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings or CI), the international credit rating agency, today announced that it has revised Muscat Finance Company's (MF) Long- and Short-Term National Scale Ratings to 'omA-' from ('omBBB') and to 'omA2' (from omA3), respectively. The change in the Company's ratings reflects the recalibration of the National Rating Scale for Oman, as well as the repositioning of entities rated on that scale, following the recent downgrade of Oman's sovereign ratings.
