CI Affirms Ratings of BIDV with a Stable Outlook

Overview

Capital Intelligence (CI), the international credit rating agency, today announced that it has affirmed Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam's (BIDV) Financial Strength Rating (FSR) at 'B+', underpinned by its satisfactory loan asset quality with a lower non-performing loans (NPLs) net accretion rate, and the rise in operating and net profit in 2014 and into Q1 2015 – despite a modest return on average assets (ROAA).
